Four Corners Rainbow Youth Center (RYC)
RYC’s Mission is to build a brave, anti-racist, anti-oppressive, non-judgmental, and visible space and community for Two Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual (2SLGBTQIA+) youth, families and allies in Southwest Colorado.
Historically, the Four Corners lacked an organization tasked specifically with providing for the unique social, emotional, educational, and developmental needs of 2SLGBTQIA+ (Two Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual) youth. The next resource is 5 hours away in Colorado Springs. Attempts by queer youth to cultivate community was halted by many of the schools denying them from forming clubs.
Approximately, 80% of our youth community identifies as bi+. When surveyed over the last two years, the youth stated that the following things would help enhance their feelings of visibility and support: a separate group on our private Discord server just for those identifying as bi+ or questioning, more bi+ books, and more bi+ materials/resources that they can give to their friends and families. Due to this response, we propose using the Visibility Impact Funds to create a private channel on our Discord server for bi+ and questioning youth, send out care packages to all of our youth that uplifts bi+ voices in books and materials, and increase bi+ materials at the center that they can take with them at any time for friends and family and that we can hand out at our community and school educational trainings. We will also use the funds for free therapy. We began a free therapy program this year and we are still searching for more funding to keep it free.

Bisexual Resource Center (BRC)
The BRC works to connect the bi+ community and help its members thrive through resources, support, and celebration. Through this work, we envision an empowered, visible, and inclusive global community for bi+ people.
With this grant, the BRC will offer a piloted program to send informative bi+ pride packs to LGBTQ+ community organizations, mental health providers, and schools nationwide. These packs will include educational cards, posters, stickers, and printed resources to help people build and support their local bi+ community. In the current climate of media misinformation and anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, we believe that more educational resources, access to support, and free pride products will improve bi+ visibility, build bi+ community, and help combat bi-antagonistic negativity.
This will be a new program based on a small piloted project we kicked off for Pride Month. The budget for this project will depend on the funding we receive, that then will determine how many organizations we can reach. This grant for $1,000 would support a robust program.

Birmingham AIDS Outreach Magic City Acceptance Center (MCAC)
The Magic City Acceptance Center (MCAC) is a grassroots community center in Birmingham, Alabama which centers LGBTQ youth ages 13-24. As a state-wide program we provide both in-person and virtual programs for individuals of all ages, 91% of whom identify as trans and non-binary. The next largest population we serve identify as M-Spec (multisexual spectrum) which falls under the bi+ umbrella.
With this grant, the Magic City Acceptance Center will create new intentional bi+ programming for youth, ages 13-24 to connect with peers, plan bi+ events, and a brand new support group that supports bi+ community members through conversations about relationships, bias, and healthcare challenges. In partnership with our affiliate, the Magic City Wellness Center, an LGBTQ-affirming primary care facility, we'll host health workshops as well, centering Bi+ Awareness Week as an opportunity to invite folks into a space for affirming care, conversation and zero bias. Over the next year, we'll have an opportunity to support over 200 M-Spec (multisexual spectrum) youth, ages 13-24 in participating in programs that support healthy, helpful conversations that serve to validate and uplift M-Spec/Bi+ individuals. These funds will provide supplies for bi+ parties and events, meals, stipends for youth participants who take leadership roles, and staff energy toward this program.

STILL BISEXUAL
Still Bisexual is a national bi+ advocacy organization that uses storytelling, education and mental health advocacy to help foster public acceptance, awareness and understanding of all people who are attracted to more than one gender.
This grant will be used to develop and launch a new program, “Raising Awareness about Sexual Assault and IPV in the Bi+ Community”. This program will include two bi+ workshops and a social media campaign that raises awareness around the epidemic of sexual and intimate partner violence against bi+ people. The social media campaign will feature a series of images featuring personal anecdotes from bi+ survivors paired with startling national statistics about sexual and intimate partner violence in the bi+ community.
